★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Please read all of this review if you are able! A couple months ago, I came into the see Mullick because of a mole that needed to be removed. It was almost Melanoma, and she cut it out and stitched it up. About a week later, the site got very infected, but I didn't realize until Friday night when the office was closed for the weekend. Long story short, the stitches opened up on its own that night with infection leaking out of it. Because I couldn't go to the office (and I was afraid of getting Sepsis😅), my mom and I decided to go to the ER. There, they opened up the stitches completely, drained the infection, and I finally found relief. My issue with Mullick came with the follow-up appointment after this ER visit. Her main concern was the ER doctor who had "ruined her work." She blamed my mom for taking me to the ER, and couldn't understand why he would open the stitches in the first place (even though they were already opened from the infection). She bashed the ER worker, claiming she had better education and would have never done what he did. She left without ever giving me an answer to why it might have been infected, and absolutely zero empathy. It was infuriating.Long story short, after years of coming to Mullick Dermatology, I will never be coming back. No one should blame a mom for doing what she thought was best for her daughter, and no one should bash other doctors who were doing what was best for their patients at the time. To say I was appalled is an understatement. You shouldn't leave a doctor's office feeling belittled when all you were searching for was help.
Apr 19, 2025 · Brittain BrewerDr. Mullick's bedside manner is one of the worst I have ever encountered. Her nurse practitioner, Whitney, is the only saving grace of the practice.
Jun 20, 2025 · Katie RayAbsolutely awful experience. Came back as a returning patient in October for a routine check up. My appointment with Dr. Mullick was initially cancelled once and then no one called the second time around when I showed up to my rescheduled appointment. I asked if there was anyone else I could see since I rearranged my day for this second appointment so they put me with the NP. When I received the bill a month later, I was charged as a “new patient” and charged for something else I was told I would not be. When I questioned the bill, I was told it would require Dr. Mullick’s approval to fix the charges. I followed up several times, only to be met with silence. I left multiple voicemails each week and no one would call me back. In the rare instances that I was able to get the office manager on the phone, she assured me she would speak with Dr. Mullick and get back to me. It never happened. Then one of the office staff at the front desk recommended I write an email so that all of my information would be in one place. I took the time to write a very detailed email, only to be met with silence once again. I followed up again several times via email and voicemail before the holidays…still nothing. Today I called up again and asked the woman that picked up to please ensure that I be transferred to an actual person that can help me (not a voicemail). The woman at the front desk simply said Dr. Mullick won’t approve anything and that was it. They never intended on calling me back to share that information either. Needless to say, I’m very disappointed and will NEVER be a returning patient. The lack of customer service and patient care is awful. Do not go here!!
Jan 06, 2025 · Danni GeeI had a very negative experience in January ‘24 after being Dr Mullick’s (satisfied) patient since her early days in Memphis. She was disrespectful and my care was compromised in many ways. She also had zero regard for my time or wellbeing.I actually took the “high road” and wrote her a long, very detailed and constructive letter instead of trashing her online. I asked that she send me my medical records. I’ve made another request for the records and have still not received them. She has left me with no other option but to leave this review. It honestly makes me sad because I once had great respect for her and have referred several friends to her over the years. Not sure what’s going on but I no longer recommend this practice.
Dec 27, 2024 · Suzanne TalbotDr. Mullick is the best! I love her attentiveness. I’ve had Dr. Mullick as my dermatologist since 2018.
