Their approach often involves advanced diagnostics and a multi-faceted treatment strategy.
Comprehensive Allergy Diagnosis and Treatment:
Allergy Testing: Including skin testing for environmental or food allergens to identify specific triggers.
Allergy Therapy/Immunotherapy (Allergy Shots): Customized vaccine regimens designed to desensitize patients to specific allergens, reducing the severity of allergic reactions over time. This is a long-term solution for conditions like hay fever, asthma, and chronic cough caused by allergies.
Medication Management: Prescribing and managing antihistamines, nasal sprays (corticosteroid, antihistamine, decongestant), and other medicines to control allergy symptoms.
Patient Education: Guidance on allergen avoidance and lifestyle modifications to minimize exposure to triggers.
Sinus Condition Diagnosis and Treatment:
Diagnosis of Sinusitis (Acute, Chronic, Recurrent): Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools such as sinus X-rays and CT scans to get detailed images and cultures from the sinuses to identify bacterial or other germ infections.
Antibiotic Therapy: For bacterial sinus infections, with careful monitoring and adjustment if symptoms don't improve.
Inhaled Corticosteroid Medicine: Nasal sprays or drops with steroids to reduce inflammation in the sinuses.
Mucus-Clearing Medicines: Prescriptions for medicines to loosen and clear mucus.
Saline Washes: Instructions and recommendations for saline irrigation to keep sinuses moist and promote drainage.
Sinus Surgery: As an option for chronic sinusitis, particularly when other treatments are ineffective. This includes procedures like Antrostomy, Ethmoidectomy, and Sphenoidectomy, aimed at improving sinus drainage and airflow.
General Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Care:
Adenoidectomy: Surgical removal of adenoids, as highlighted in a patient review for recurrent infections.
Diagnosis and Treatment of Various ENT Conditions: As part of Loma Linda University's Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery department, they would also handle a broad spectrum of conditions including hearing loss, ear infections, tonsillitis, voice disorders, and potentially more complex head and neck issues, although the primary focus of this center is sinus and allergy.
Referral Services: Working closely with other specialists, including pulmonologists and dermatologists, for coordinated and comprehensive care, especially for conditions like allergic asthma or eczema related to allergies.
Pediatric Allergy and Sinus Care: The center also addresses pediatric sinusitis and allergies, adapting diagnosis and treatment methods for children, including specialized allergy shots and careful consideration of surgical options.
Expert Consultations: Providing in-depth medical history reviews, physical exams, and customized care plans at the first visit, followed by necessary follow-up visits, skin testing, breathing tests, and lab tests.

Loma Linda University Sinus and Allergy Center Reviews
Dr. Church helped me with an adenoid infection that would not go away. He eventually did surgery to remove it and I’m so thankful for his help. I have seen a lot of doctors and I can tell you he is intelligent and is careful about his decision making in your case. I believe my case was difficult because it was not responding to antibiotics so figuring out what to do was, of course, a challenge. I would absolutely recommend seeing Dr. Church.
Aug 19, 2021 · TiffanyMy doctor and my allergy therapy vaccine is on going well.but l decide to have it in my home.l just go to pick up the Vacuna every 3 months. Most if you missed the time they re schedule and me going far away to change appt it is not like . so you must be on time.
Jul 21, 2021 · zoila fuentesIt’s NOT a skin care clinic!!! Dr Church manages my Chronic Sinus Disease and Dr Sieberling oversees my Immunotherapy. Very good care there has helped me avoid an 8th sinus surgery 👍🙏
Oct 03, 2020 · Assunta MariaI enjoyed my visit and learned a lot about my personal situation and how to deal with it.
Sep 22, 2022 · Janice MarieI came in 20 min early and am waiting over 2 hours now. I really don’t know why they over book people when there’s not enough staff. Now I list my whole day because it’s been 3+ hours and lost my other appointments.
