Leah Chavie Skincare Boutique is a business with a long history in the Chicago area, building a reputation for offering advanced clinical skincare and a variety of aesthetic treatments. The clinic’s philosophy revolves around providing customized solutions that address individual skin concerns, from acne and discoloration to signs of aging. The boutique's approach to skincare is to not only treat existing issues but also to educate clients on how to maintain healthy, glowing skin in the long term. The clinic emphasizes a personalized experience, starting with a consultation to determine the most effective services for each person. While the clinic has received a lot of positive feedback from clients who have seen significant improvements in their skin from various treatments and who value the staff's professionalism, it is important for potential clients to also understand the full range of feedback available. Some client experiences have highlighted inconsistencies in service delivery, particularly regarding treatment time and effectiveness, suggesting that the experience can vary depending on the technician.
Located at 8 E Chestnut St, Chicago, IL 60611, Leah Chavie Skincare Boutique is situated in the prestigious Gold Coast neighborhood. This prime location is a significant factor for its accessibility to residents throughout Illinois. The clinic's address on Chestnut Street places it just a short distance from Michigan Avenue, one of the city's most famous and well-trafficked thoroughfares. This central position makes it a convenient destination for clients coming from various parts of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. For those traveling by car, there are multiple parking garages in the vicinity, though it's important to note that street parking can be challenging to find in this busy area. A major benefit for local users is the clinic’s proximity to public transportation. The Red Line 'L' station at Chicago Avenue is a short walk away, as are a number of CTA bus routes, offering a hassle-free commute for those who prefer to use public transit.
The accessibility and prestigious location are key components of the client experience. Being in the Gold Coast provides a sense of luxury and professionalism, while the easy access via various modes of transportation ensures that clients can fit their appointments into their schedules with minimal disruption. The clinic’s presence in the 60611 zip code, a hub for high-end retail and services, makes it a logical choice for locals seeking premium skincare options. The dual location of the business, with another branch in Florida, also speaks to its brand recognition and reach, although the focus for Illinois residents is, of course, the Chicago boutique.
Leah Chavie Skincare Boutique offers a diverse menu of services, combining traditional spa treatments with advanced clinical procedures. This range allows them to address a wide spectrum of skin concerns and client goals.
Facials and Skincare Treatments: The clinic offers a variety of facials, including a signature facial and advanced treatments like the HydraFacial, which is known for its ability to cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate the skin simultaneously. They also provide targeted services for specific concerns such as acne and anti-aging, using specialized products and techniques.

They also offer more specialized treatments like Laser Genesis, which is designed to reduce fine lines and scars, and IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) for hyperpigmentation and sun spots.
Body and Wellness Services: Beyond facial skincare, the clinic offers body waxing and other wellness services such as an Infrared Sauna Blanket treatment, which aims to promote fat breakdown and detoxification. This provides a more holistic approach to beauty and wellness for their clientele.
Several features and highlights characterize the Leah Chavie Skincare Boutique experience, though it's important to consider all available information.

Advanced Technology: The clinic utilizes a range of professional-grade equipment and products, including different types of lasers for various treatments. This commitment to using advanced technology is a key feature, as it allows them to offer a wide array of services that are often sought after in the market.
Personalized Consultation: The process begins with a personal consultation to create a tailored treatment plan. This consultative approach is a strong highlight, as it shows a commitment to understanding and addressing each client’s individual needs and goals, which is crucial for effective and satisfying outcomes.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I booked a laser hair removal treatment (6 treatments total) at Leah’s salon with a technician who used to work there last year. That technician did an amazing job and even after the first appointment I could notice a huge difference especially in my bikini area and armpits. After a few appointments I also decided to do my legs, arms, and chest. I loved the results and she also used two different lasers on me. A special one for my bikini, Brazilian, and armpits, and a bigger one for the rest of my body. With the smaller laser it hurt a lot more, but she explained that the popping sound was the actual hair follicle coming out and that’s exactly where I noticed the biggest difference. Also, she took her time with me and each session was an hour or more especially after I added my legs and arms to the service.4 or 5 sessions into my treatment I was transferred to Leah because the previous lady was no longer employed there. Leah roughly spent 20 minutes doing my entire body, using only the laser which I could barely feel working. She went really quick and sometimes would do both sides of my arms and sometimes she would forget to do the under side of my arm. Sometimes she would do my hand and sometimes she wouldn’t. Same with my legs. After Leah started to do my treatments, my skin didn’t even feel like it had been through a laser treatment and there was absolutely no change in hair reduction. I called the front desk and complained about not being given the proper amount of time and that my treatments were very inconsistent. (Keep in mind this procedure costs thousands of dollars). After the call Leah took her time a little more, but the entire thing lasted 30 min tops.It has been a little over 6 months since my last treatment and all of my hair (except the parts that the previous lady did) has come back. I have darker and longer hair on my back, front, legs, chest, and arms because of all of the shaving I had to do before each ineffective treatment by Leah. I couldn’t describe how I feel about my experience because it wasn’t just horrible in terms of quality service, but also extremely disrespectful toward my mother (who paid for my service) and I. My mom has a cleaning business and she works so hard everyday cleaning other people’s houses so that she can provide for me, and Leah took that money, put it in her pocket, and didn’t even provide the service I was told I’d receive (Up to 80% reeducation in growth). I wouldn’t be writing this review if there was at least some difference after her treatments, but my hair grew back even darker due to the shaving before treatments!!!!Don’t spend your money at this business, they don’t deserve a penny out of YOUR pocket.

Jan 12, 2023 · Ally A_36Definitely recommend! I have been coming here for several treatments now; from laser vein therapy, laser hair removal, to plasma. Leah and her staff are very nice. Make time to shop at The Vault, which is on the same floor as Leah Chavie. Anna has a great selection of luxury handbags, accessories, and jewelry. Making it a one stop skincare and shop!

Apr 15, 2023 · Elizabeth MirandaI was nervous to try laser because of how thick and curly my hairs were, and was unsure which businesses had enough diverse clients to know what they were doing for those with different hair/skin types. Listen.......Leah does a damn good job!!! I wish I had started laser hair removal years ago. Waxing was not for me, It was painful (to the point where I would cancel appts bc I hated It), my skin was so sensitive, and my in-growns would not stop (even with exfoliation). Ive been going to Leah for almost a year and am EXTREMELY satisfied with my results: rarely do I get in-growns, my dark spots have lightened, and Its not painful at all (I have a low pain tolerance, so that says alot). Leah and her team are the sweetest, and the prices are very reasonable. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend.

Jan 14, 2023 · Chardae FI wish I could give it zero stars.I bought a gift voucher and scheduling was incredibly difficult and am unsure why. I called and left a message saying email was best to reach me and no one followed up. I finally got a hold of someone and was suppose to get an email follow up and never did. Then called several times asking to get an email confirmation.Once I came to my appointment I wasn’t educated on any of the procedures. I did the thermo jet service and was not told to bring a change of clothes. I was sweating through my clothes and it was very uncomfortable. I also saw pictures of this procedure and it was on the legs, midsection and Arm. I didn’t have anything applied to my arms. When that was finished I had a facial appointment I then waited 10 minutes for. Reggie was kind enough to take my clothes and put them in the dryer but I just sat in my clothes sweating.Reggie did a fine job on the facial however I disliked a lot of the products used. I’ve gotten other facials before and my skin has never get this way before.I am deeply disappointed in the service I received from this salon. I am unsure how much Leah is there to work with staff or to train them on what to do. It is very disappointing and a waste of my time and money to come to this place.
