Due to The Hydrafacial companies lack of customer service and responsiveness; I have now gone to the Attorney General of California and Arizona as well as reported them to the Better Business Bureau.I purchased my Hydrafacial in March of 2023 and chose to finance it as I was a new business owner and still building a steady clientele. I was promised a new machine, however, on the paperwork I received from the lender, it shows the machine as used. This is FRAUD.Within just one year of having the initial machine I have had two Hydrafacial machine replacements (total of 3 machines in less than a year). The replacements are not quick either! Prepare to be without a machine for as long as 2 months. Many clients who were prepaid or bought packages for our Hydrafacial machine were very upset; Due to this, I had no choice but to fully refund or attempt to offer another service for the inconveniences.Recently I have been attempting to sell my Hydrafacial machine because I can no longer afford it due to clients unwillingness to buy treatments. I was told by someone very interested in purchasing my machine that Hydrafacial told her she will not be able to get an account unless she pays $10,000 because it is used. I reached out to my representative who told me this was in fact true.My representative then referred me to her manager, the regional sales director. The sales director proceeded to tell me there's nothing she can do and that if someone purchases my machine they will owe $10,000 as stated in the purchase agreement. The sales director sent me the purchase agreement and told me where to read the “signed” agreement. I reviewed the purchase agreement and nowhere in the document does it state that the new owner of the machine will owe $10,000 to build a “relationship” with Hydrafacial. This company is a disgrace to the aesthetic industry! Not only do they poorly care for their clients (medspas, estheticians, etc.), but they could care less about our clients.Had the Hydrafacial company actually attempted to help me, I would not be here writing this message. I want a full refund from The Hydrafacial Company and the machine picked up!

The sales team is very convincing but exaggerate the income potential. The cost of treatments are to expensive it is hard to sell, they set the price too. The company takes weeks to call you back, nobody knows how to help you. My sales rep is often missing in action with no response to emails and text. Do not buy, literally will put you out of business as you go into the hole trying to pay it off. I tried to stay positive about this purchase but unfortunately this financially crippled my business. You can't sell it very easily as they charge $9500 to the purchase who buys it from you to reset the machine for use.

There is a constant rotation of employees and reps, a lack of support, and a rude tone to everyone I have encountered from this company is just the icing on the cake of an overall disappointing experience. Additionally, when it comes to peels, the expenses are even higher.Despite this, I checked all the businesses in my city and discovered that some are selling packages for as low as $75 per treatment.Interestingly, the salespersons conveniently avoid disclosing these details, which can significantly impact your future income. I personally gathered all this information from the internet. I advise thoroughly checking every detail before making any purchases from this business.Furthermore, if you operate a spa (rather than a medical facility) and lack a medical director, there are limitations on what you can buy, especially concerning peels. In such cases, you're only allowed to purchase the prep (glysal 7.5%), and not the 15% or 30%. Be aware of these restrictions when considering your options.
