★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Have been going to this dermatologist for many years. I went to schedule my annual checkup and found out they were bought out. The front desk workers were never the most cheery of people, but the very short and rude receptionist said I had to fill out a new profile before I could schedule my exam. I had several questions, but In the middle of me asking if the form would be emailed to me, she just hung up. A month later, nothing came in the mail either. Needless to say, I am now seeing a new dermatologist!
Jun 04, 2025 · Brian RThis was my first experience at a dermatologist. Went for a routine exam along with a specific skin issue. Less than 10 min wait to be seen. However, what I didn’t know, was that the actual appointment was going to be even shorter than that. I know full body exams are pretty short, like 10-20 min, but I was in the room for no more than 5 minutes. There was really no “full body exam” as it was done from a few feet away for no more than 30 seconds. The whole thing just felt rushed and not thorough at all. I was prescribed a topical foam for a specific issue, where I wasn’t explained how much to use, how many times a day, how to apply, how long to use, etc…I had to ask all these questions myself. Thought I’d at least be prescribed some kind of antibiotic as opposed to a topical that I can just get a similar over-the-counter at any pharmacy. The appointment ended 5 minutes later where I went to the receptionist to check-out. I didn’t have a co-pay with my insurance but I had asked for an invoice or any documentation regarding my appointment. The receptionists stared at me like I had 3 heads. I had previously mentioned when I checked in that this was my first time seeing a dermatologist and I had relatively new insurance, so I wasn’t 100% if I had to owe anything after the appointment or if my insurance covered it. At least wanted some record that I was there just in case my insurance company reached out to me about the claim. Anyways, I had thought a full exam would have been longer than just about 30 seconds. Was very disappointed with the quality of the exam. I scheduled an appointment with another practice as soon as I left and will never return nor recommend.
Jun 17, 2023 · Jake BloomfeldFirst (and last) visit as a new patient. Getting an appt was easy, and I found out why. This was my first derm appt in over 15 yrs, had some specific concerns with my skin as well as needed my first full body skin cancer screen. What an absolute joke. The PA wrote me a script for an antimicrobial lotion, which when I looked it up has worse side effects than what I'm even experiencing. The cancer screen, as someone with fair skin and extensive sun damage, took (without exaggeration) approximately 45 seconds. Didn't see large parts of my body since all I was asked was to move the paper gown around a bit. Didn't touch me, check hairline or common risk areas, didn't ask risk factors or family history. Whole thing was over in 5 minutes, and I've got a $105 bill. Listen to me, I don't care how easy it was to get an appt, you're going to be better off waiting for a spot at a real office. This is extremely dangerous to claim to provide something as important as skin cancer screens and not provide them.
Feb 19, 2024 · Adrianna GillI went to this dermatology facility because my hair has been breaking, and it's significant enough that I was concerned. If I'm being completely honest, I'm not entirely sure what I paid for when I went. The dermatologist never once touched or looked at my hair. When I asked him if he would want to run any tests like taking a hair sample, he told me there was no point. He then told me to switch to baby shampoo and recheck in 2 months. Not quite sure what is being rechecked when nothing was actually checked in the first place. I opted to go to another dermatologist for a second opinion, who actually evaluated my scalp, took a hair sample, reviewed my previous labwork and provided me with a presumptive diagnosis and treatment plan.I didn't come to Doylestown Dermatology expecting an immediate diagnosis, truly, as I understand my situation is not very straightforward. But what was lacking and so exceedingly disappointing is that the doctor didn't even perform a basic physical exam. He stood across the room from me at the counter and asked me a few questions including "can you ask Siri on your phone to lookup the insurance billing code for X symptom." Overall, very disappointing and I will never be coming back.
Dec 21, 2023 · Kathrine BazewiczI saw Dr. David for my psoriasis. He’s an awesome doctor and everything went quite well. I would highly recommend this place there very caring and they even give you samples when they have them.
