- Injectables
IntroductionGreat for concealing the effects of aging, as well as freezing aging in time. Can also be used in younger patients as a preventative measure.OTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription drug that, when injected, temporarily paralyzes muscles. It contains a purified and safe form of botulinum toxin A, which is produced by the microbe that causes botulism. Manufactured by Allergan, Inc., it is used to treat permanent furrows and deep wrinkles in the skin that are formed by the continual contraction of facial muscles. In addition to its cosmetic applications, it is used to treat a number of medical problems, including excessive sweating, overactive bladder, neck spasms, crossed eyes, chronic back and jaw pain, and migraines.Although originally approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of eye and muscle spasms, BOTOX Cosmetic was quickly recognized for its cosmetic value. Properly placed injections of BOTOX Cosmetic block nerve impulses sent to muscles, weakening them to the point where they cannot contract, and temporarily eliminating moderately severe furrows and lines. BOTOX Cosmetic is used to treat the following:-Forehead furrows-Frown lines-Crow's feet-Skin bands on the neckAccording to Allergan, BOTOX Cosmetic has been "extensively researched, with approximately 2500 studies."Prescription Dysport® injectable is a U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved treatment for temporarily lessening or eliminating moderate-to-severe frown lines between the eyebrows. Like BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport injectable is placed directly into the muscle underneath a furrow, weakening the muscle to the point where it cannot contract.Dysport, also known as Reloxin, is made from a neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum; it is the same neurotoxin used in BOTOX Cosmetic.Medically, Dysport injectable is used to treat excessive underarm sweating; symptoms of cervical dystonia, which include neck pain and abnormal head position; and muscle spasms. Cosmetically, Dysport injections are used to treat the following:-Forehead furrows-Frown lines-Crow's feet-Skin bands on the neckFillersUsed to lift and fill in the upper cheek area, also smooths wrinkles and shallow to deep nasolabial folds. For lips, it can give you subtle volume, while also softening the appearance of vertical lip lines.Juvéderm® Family of Products-Ultra-Ultra Plus-Voluma-Vobella-VollureRestylane® Family of Products-L-L 0.5mL-Lyft-Silk-Refyne-DefyneKybella®An injection comprised of deoxycholic acid, which is a naturally-occurring substance which can effectively "absorb" fat cells. It is the first and only FDA- approved injectable treatment to improve the appearance of the "double chin".Sculptra®Sculptra® Aesthetic injectable is used to reverse the signs of facial fat loss that occur with aging. By restoring collagen, which decreases as the body ages, it fills out shallow-to-deep wrinkles and folds that run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds). It is not appropriate for use in the eye and lip areas.

MiraDry® uses a non-invasive handheld device to deliver precisely controlled electromagnetic energy beneath the underarm skin to the specific area where sweat glands are located, resulting in the decomposition of the sweat glands. While the sweat glands are being eliminated through electromagnetic technology, the top layers of the skin are simultaneously cooled and protected. Sweat glands are not believed to grow back after treatment so the effect can be seen almost immediately and results are lasting. Some patients may only need one treatment but, for best results, two procedures spaced three months apart are recommended (occasionally a third treatment may be required.)

This causes damage to the lining of the target blood vessel without damaging the surrounding tissues and skin. The body absorbs the damaged blood vessels, and the flow of blood is re-directed into deeper vessels. The length and number of treatments needed will depend on the size of the area being treated and the severity of the condition. Some of the most common conditions the PDL can treat include: Angiomas, Facial Redness, Facial Vines and Broken Capillaries, Poikiloderma, Port Wine Stains, Rosacea, Scars, Stretch Marks, Warts, Wrinkles.
- Poison Ivy, Oak, Sumac
Typically, a rash, a form of dermatitis, develops on the skin within a day or two of contact with the plant or its oil. The rash itself is not contagious to others and will not spread to other areas of the affected individual unless repeated contact is made with urushiol that remains on the body or clothing. Usually, the rash of poison ivy begins as a red, swollen, itchy area which then develops into hives and blisters. The rash may appear to spread as different areas on the body, perhaps affected at different times, react to the allergen. The itching becomes increasingly severe and may interfere with normal activities and concentration. While not usually a serious condition, the poison ivy rash can be extremely uncomfortable and distracting. In general, the poison ivy rash will disappear within a week or two. Patients are advised not to scratch the blisters, as bacteria from the fingernails may lead to infection. It is also advisable to bathe thoroughly, wash affected clothing, and clean any affected gear or upholstery that may contain trashes of the offending oil in order to avoid reinfection.
- Psoriatic Arthritis
Psoriatic Arthritis is a condition in which joint destruction, typically the knee and hand joints, can occur. In addition to the classic psoriatic plagues which may or may not be present, there are commonly nail changes that can be seen, such as small pits on the nail surface, thickening of the nail plate, and discoloration.
- Ringworm
The skin patches of ringworm have sharply defined borders and may present as rings, darker red at the perimeter and skin-toned within. Crusty or oozing blisters may also be present. When ringworm affects the scalp, there may be bald patches. When it affects the nails, the nails may discolor, thicken or even begin to decompose. Ringworm is generally diagnosed by a simple physical examination. Other methods of detection include lighting the skin with a blue light which causes the fungus to glow, administering a KOH exam during which a skin scraping is microscopically examined, or taking a skin culture or biopsy.
- Scaly Skin
Scaly skin is a common problem, particularly in winter months. Scaly skin is caused by soaps, aging and exposure to sunlight. The skin is itchy and has a dry, rough texture that can crack or peel.
- Sebaceous Carcinoma

- Seborreic Keratosis
A seborrheic keratosis usually appears as a raised round or oval scaly spot on the face, arms, chest or back. Often, these growths appear two at a time over many years. Typically, a seborrheic keratosis is small, usually with a maximum diameter of under an inch, and looks as if it has been pasted onto the surface of the skin. It may range in color from tan to black.Seborrheic keratoses do not usually discomfort the patient, although they may sometimes itch. If they are located in an area where clothing rubs against them, they may bleed and even, though rarely, become infected. Usually, a seborrheic keratosis is not painful or bothersome except cosmetically, but many people choose to have such a growth removed for aesthetic reasons.
- Skin Cancer
Skin cancer, which is the most common form of cancer in the United States, is the result of the abnormal growth of skin cells. Cancer can affect skin anywhere on the body, but most frequently appears on skin that is exposed to the sun. There are more than a million new cases of skin cancer in the United States each year.
- Vitiligo
Vitiligo is a skin condition caused by progressive depigmentation; it presents as white patches on the skin. Although any part of the body can be affected, vitiligo is usually found on the face, elbows, knees, hands, feet, genitals and upper thighs. When the scalp is affected, the hair growing on the vitiligo patch is white. Vitiligo can also affect the chin or eyelid, in which case the lashes or beard become white. The texture of the depigmented skin is not altered and the condition is not painful, although the affected skin may be much more sensitive to the sun.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have been seeing Kara Roche for a few years now and continue to be appreciative and grateful for her approach to patient care. When she enters the room it's as if you just saw her the day before, she is not only assessing you for the reason for your appointment but genuinely inquires about how life has been and how you are doing. While those things may seem small, allowing your patients to feel like human beings first should be top priority for anyone working in healthcare.Thank you Kara Roche and staff for always providing an excellent environment and experience for your patients!
Jul 18, 2025 · Erin CulverI have psoriatic Arthritis and had been through a range of treatments With other physicians that either didn’t work or left me, extremely fatigued and depressedI came to Dr Radloff Derm. I I could barely take a shower I was in so much pain. She made me feel at ease and prescribed Taltz… which has changed my life dramatically. Virtually no side effects. Virtually painful injection every 4-6 weeksI cleared up in a very short time and leading a much higher quality life. I am forever grateful to her. Can’t recommend her enough. She’s very good kind and gets right to the point. Always Positive and professional
Jul 15, 2025 · Lynda KingFirst time seeing a Dermatologist and this practice was amazing! Nice office easily located at Dublin Methodist Hospital (parking) and staff was VERY friendly. Dr Radloff and her nurse made me feel welcome and comfortable. I was able to ask questions, didn’t feel rushed- and felt VERY confident in their knowledge surrounding my visit (general skin exam/ family history of skin cancer and exam of suspicious moles). They were able to do quick biopsies at exam and also freeze off some moles (which I didn’t expect - thought I would have to make another apt and return) It was SUPER fast! Plus, my entire exam- positive energy and SMILES! Just overall a great experience- except she confirmed I can no longer tan in the beds/booths. Haha. I highly recommend this office for dermatology needs, and I will be returning.
May 29, 2025 · Deborah Lehosit- ForeroMy entire family LOVES Dr. Kara Roche . Well educated, she knows her stuff.. We’re grateful she is a part of our lives. We trust her wholeheartedly.. Thank you for everything as always
Jun 13, 2025 · Kyndra DrummondMy daughter had the worst experience with Dr Kimberly RADLOFF . Apparently She lacks bedside manners .My daughter just requested her if she could call me so I could hear what Dr. had to say about the concern but instead of politely denying she went out of the room leaving her with the assistance to reschedule. (This Dr came in the room after waiting 30-40mins) She was not even ready to hear anything. Dr Radloff is extremely extremely RUDE and tried to intimidate my daughter , she came home crying . I personally had to call the office to complain about the episode. . Never trusting this Dr again. Maybe she needs to learn to control her temper. I wish I could give her ZERO!!!(*Front desk staff was kind enough to understand my concerns when I called back)
