City Central Dermatology, located on Southern Boulevard in the Bronx, aims to serve this need, providing a local option for a range of skin concerns. While the journey to finding the right healthcare provider can sometimes present challenges, particularly concerning initial interactions, the core purpose of a dermatology clinic remains paramount: to offer professional medical and aesthetic services for the skin. For New Yorkers navigating the demands of city life, finding a convenient and capable clinic for everything from routine check-ups to addressing specific conditions is a key priority. This article will provide an overview of City Central Dermatology, detailing its location and accessibility, the types of services it typically offers, and important contact information for those considering their skin care needs in the Bronx.
City Central Dermatology functions as a general dermatology practice, which means it is equipped to diagnose and treat a wide array of skin conditions. In a diverse urban environment like the Bronx, dermatological needs can range from common issues like acne, eczema, and rashes to more serious concerns such as skin cancer screenings and mole evaluations. A local dermatology clinic plays a crucial role in providing accessible care, often serving as the first point of contact for skin health issues for many community members. While recent customer reviews have highlighted some challenges related to front-desk and call handling experiences, the essential services of a dermatology clinic focus on the medical expertise provided by the dermatologists and their clinical team. It is understood that a positive patient experience encompasses not just the quality of medical care but also the efficiency and courtesy of administrative processes. For New Yorkers, understanding the full scope of services and patient interactions is key to making informed healthcare decisions.

City Central Dermatology Reviews
Most of the workers are professional, but the young one at the front-desk was ignoring me as if I wasn't even there. I just wanted to set another appointment lol.
Apr 13, 2025 · M RWhoever is in charge of handling calls is levels beyond rude. I was asking her a question and she proceeded to hang up. I called back and the same person is in the background complaining about me being rude when I’m the one who got the phone slammed on simply by asking a question. This is all before actually being processed to make an appointment. Not a good start to this process whatsoever. Amazing how you decide to be a receptionist and have zero people skills.
Oct 22, 2024 · Jose NievesThis office site is very spacious and clean. Although there were lots of patients, we had enough space to sit down. The staff was very friendly and polite, the doctor was very informative and helpful.
Aug 17, 2024 · Mariel RosarioThis place saved a life! When I tell you I’ve had zero confidence over the last 10 years with not showing my natural hair and causing more damage by trying to mask it up with wigs …this place has made a huge difference to my confidence. Traction alopecia is no joke and most young females suffer from this trauma ….i will not be telling you no lies by telling you, your years of feeling insecure with hair with be totally gone when you are seen for treatment at this dermatologist. I highly highly recommend! Thank me later
