---For New Jersey residents, particularly those in Passaic and surrounding areas, Atlantic Dermatology Associates offers a wide range of dermatological services, making it a potentially convenient local option for various skin health needs. The clinic's comprehensive menu, encompassing general medical dermatology (such as skin cancer screenings, acne, rashes, and psoriasis treatment) and a selection of cosmetic procedures (including fillers and laser treatments), suggests a capability to address a broad spectrum of patient concerns under one roof. The presence of experienced, board-certified physicians, like Dr. Jeffrey M. Whitworth with his extensive background in Mohs Surgery, indicates a strong foundation in medical expertise.

The repeated negative feedback regarding customer service, particularly concerning an individual named Grace, and general comments about staff and doctor professionalism, cannot be overlooked. While the clinic's stated goal is to foster a team-oriented approach and provide patient education, the actual patient experience, as described in these reviews, suggests that these ideals may not always be met. For New Jersey locals considering Atlantic Dermatology Associates, it is advisable to weigh the broad range of services and physician qualifications against the reported issues with patient experience. Prospective patients might consider discussing their concerns directly with the office when scheduling an appointment or researching more recent, diversified reviews if available. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Grace from this office provides the worst customer service! She always said she’s trying to help but the only thing that she does is talk, talk and talk before patients explain their situation. I asked her and other people that work there to fax me a medical release form and she always says to call back because she is not able to help the same day that you call. Don’t ever come to this office, staff and doctors are not professional at all. Believe me!! you will have a horrible time and experience with these people without proper education.

May 03, 2023 · Priscila BaqueRecently came here, however I came without an appointment and I was still able to be seen. So that’s a plus. The one who stood out to me was Shalita, she was great with details about the whole visit. Godbless her for being able to write down everything the specialist was telling her. The doctor speaks really fast so I can imagine the challenge. But in conclusion Shalita went above and beyond for me. I’m truly grateful. Thank you

Dec 14, 2022 · Kris MadridThis Dermatology office and his staff are the most unprofessional people I have met in my life. The staff is very rude and they don't have a clue of what they are doing. They don't know how insurances work first of all, so you may end up with a bill even if you have insurance. Second they tell you to come without appointment and when you are there, if they feel like it; they say you can't see the doctor after you wasted your time showing up. And even If you do have appointment you have to wait like 3-4 hrs. It happened to me , I waited like 3 hrs; is like they give everyone the same time appointment. And the last , If one staff doesn't know how your insurance works in terms of what kind of referall you need according to what kind of insurance you have , even with the proper referral, they tell you that the doctor can't see you just because they don't know how your insurance works; without even caring about the medical problem you may have . I have 30 years working in medical offices . I am a insurance specialist and certified medical biller and never seen a staffSo unprofessional, lacking so much interpersonal skills and not well trained how each and every different medical insurance works. They lost me , my daughter, my mother and any future patients as I will not recommend anybody. I would not want anybody to go through the same experience I went through. Every patient deserves to be treated professionally and kind. As is already enough your going to see a doctor , because obviously you don't feel good .

Aug 18, 2016 · Billy BobI saw the reviews before I went and its confirmed. They are unorganized and need to get it together over there. I went and was prescribed a medication that was on back order at every pharmacy. Then I called to tell them, they said they would call me back and didn't. So now a whole day went by and I have to call them for my medication. Great insurance would get you much better service.

Jun 28, 2019 · Dee ReeWorst Bedside manner I ever experienced. Do not listen to patients. I’m sure the dx will be wrong when you get sample from two different conditions in the same cup. I don’t give a negative star because is not an option here. Save your time and money and go somewhere else!
