Where do I even begin? From my very first phone call with Dr. Mike (Dr. M), I knew I had found someone special. He listened—really listened—to my complicated medical history, asked thoughtful questions, and genuinely cared about understanding my background before accepting the challenge I presented to him.Fast forward to our first in-person meeting on 4/29: Dr. Mike sat down with my husband and me to go over everything in detail. He was thorough, kind, and clearly committed to finding the right solution for me. He is the first doctor in New Jersey in this field who didn’t pass me off to an aesthetician or an NP (no disrespect—many of you are amazing!). Instead, he took me on personally, and that alone meant the world to me.I have a rare skin condition called trichoepithelioma, which resembles basal cell carcinoma but isn’t. Mohs surgery is the gold standard for treatment, with CO2 laser therapy being a strong second. I had Mohs surgery in 2012 on one side of my face and was left with a noticeable scar. In 2013, I chose CO2 for the other side, and it worked wonders for several years. Since then, I’ve been trying to get CO2 laser therapy again in NJ—but I was constantly met with resistance from NPs and estheticians who either couldn’t or wouldn’t take on my case.And then—boom—I met Dr. Mike. He took me on like a champ! He developed a personalized treatment plan and performed my first session with great care. The procedure was smooth, the discomfort minimal, and he thoroughly targeted the overgrown areas. I truly couldn’t be more grateful.Dr. Mike is now my forever doctor. Dr. Mike is excellent. I was going to use a Groupon, but he gave me a discount. I decided to do the fractional laser and the 4D. Laser Its been a week and I noticed my skin is smoother and firmer . My face was a little red, but not too much and it flaked a little bit. I would highly recommend coming in here if you have any issues or want to prevent or help with wrinkles or skin in general, there is parking in the back the building is kind of in away from the street, but it was easy to find the office is clean and I felt very comfortable with this doctor A+ service.
